I haven't painted anything flesh-toned in a long time, so thought I'd just play around and this is what I ended up with. Very fun to paint! Definitely gotta practice much more though, people are tough!

Also, I found this awesome guy through deviantart: www.larolaro.blogspot.com His style is so fun! So this is inspired by his work a bit.

Beginning (very beginning) sketch for a character for a little weekly art challenge my friends and I have. This week we were supposed to design a "Holiday Super Hero" and pick from a list of holidays. I picked Chirstmas! ...haha, not really, I picked Day of the Dead (that would be an interesting version of Christmas though...). So, I'm planning on painting this and making it look much nicer, but here's what I've got so far!

Acrylic Marker Experiment

A quick and fun little experiment I did trying out my "DecoColor Acrylic Paint" markers. Just used four colors and then some black india ink with a bamboo thing-a-mabob I made a few years ago in an art class (was very fun to use) and just a tad bit of "Presto!" whiteout pen. Haha, this doesn't quite look like how it does in my sketchbook, colors are still too saturated, but I tweaked it a bit to try to get it closer.

Haha, I had NO idea where I was going when I started this one. Just started laying down colors. I eventually sort of knew where I wanted to go, but didn't really get there (some sort of explosion/blast-off type thing). Just a quickie though.
