Little Miss Muffet

Here's the final illustration for my Animation/Illustration 112a class. It was a really great project. A very fun piece to create and I've never had to use pen and ink this extensively before, so it was a lot of fun just experimenting with that.

The assignment was to illustrate our interpretation of a nursery rhyme (Little Miss Muffet). In my mind Ms. Muffet, after being frightened away by that mean spider, returned and vanquished it. Then taking in the beautiful landscape as she finished off her curds and whey. So here it is:

Materials: Pen and Ink (Crow quill pen and a brush). Size: 9"x 12"
