Daily Painting #168

Haha, another really random environment sketch. I was inspired to experiment with some colors after seeing Sheldon (one of my professors) use some of his pastels today in class. I already sort of knew this, but he said something that I really liked: "The color doesn't really matter as long as you get the value right" I think keeping that in mind is really going to help how colors will work in my paintings and bring more interest to how my stuff looks. We'll see!

  1. I thought it was "The color doesn't really matter as long as you get the temperature right." Looks cool man; loose and full of textures.

  2. I'm pretty sure it was temperature, either way, looks great!

  3. Lol, you guys are probably right. I must have just edited the quote in my head. I think I'm more inspired by seeing how he used color than what he said. And thanks!
